Zoom Waterfast Lash!

Mac has recently came out with a mascara in a collection all it's own.

Mac has been known for not making the best quality mascaras, but this might all change with this new mascara. It is said to repel moisture for up to twelve hours (aka, 1/2 a day).

I'm probably not going to be purchasing from this collection. I think you can find great waterproof mascaras at the drugstore for a fraction of the price ($15). I would recommend CoverGirl Lash Blast Waterproof if you wanted a good waterproof mascara.

Too Supreme Collection

This new Mac collection is all about lips!

It includes 13 lipsticks and 11 lipglasses. The main focus point of this collection is the new type of lipglasses. They are pretty much the same formula, but it comes with a brush applicator that you use to put on the product. All you have to do is click the pen-like applicator and you have product! Though I do find these almost exactly like the Stila Lip Glazes.

I would rate this collection: 4/5 stars. Although, I will not be purchasing anything with this collection, I think both the lipsticks and lipglasses have a nice color selection. I think the collection was really truly missing something in it, maybe it was the packaging or maybe another product would have been nice.-MacFanGirl

Marcel Wanders!

Mac has released the Marcel Wanders collection!

This collection includes False Lash Mascara, 4 different colors of both lipsticks and lipglasses, a sheer mystery powder, a differently packaged 187 brush, a brush roll, and an air of style sense concentrate (whatever that is).

I really don't like this collection, at first everyone seemed like it was great and all, but I was very disappointed with this. I don't really like how expensive everything is with the fancy packaging. I would rate this 1/5 stars, for the selection of lipsticks and lipglasses, but 4 stars deducted for obnoxious packaging, weird names, and high prices. -MacFanGirl

Mac Chen Man!

I'm finally back, and I apologize for being late on this whole collection, but on March 1st, Mac came out with the Chen Men collection.

This collection includes 2 lipglasses, 1 fluidline, 1 pigment, 3 Mineralized Eyeshadow Duos, 1 reflects glitter, 2 different types of mascara, 2 lipsticks, 1 beauty powder, a clear gloss, 2 nail polishes, and a 208 angled brow brush.

This is the first time in a long time I have been excited about a Mac collection. I rate this collection 5/5 stars! I picked up both lipglasses and 1 Mineralized eyeshadow duo.

Lipglass- Force of Love

I would have picked up more if my Mac counter wouldn't have sold out so quickly, and if I wasn't trying to buy as much makeup. :) -MacFanGirl

Lightfully Collection!

It's been forever since I posted, but that's only because no new MAC collections have been out. But I can no longer say it today.

The Lightfully collection was released today, and it is basically a skincare line. It includes various creams and mositurizers.

I personally don't like MAC's skincare at all. If you want a nice skincare, I would go for Clinique or Neautrogena.
Though I will say, the packaging on the products is really amazing. If only MAC would do some kind of rainbow collection with that packaging I would be very satisfied.

I would rate this collection 1/5 stars. 1 star for the great packaging, and no other stars for the not great products and not so reasonable prices.-MacFanGirl

Mineralized Perfectly Finished Collection

If you got the email notification for the newest of the slew of new collections released for the spring, today you would have seen the new Mineralized Perfectly Finished Collection.

The collection includes a loose powder, a liquid concealer, and a 188 face brush.

I liked this collection. I already have my BareMinerals loose powder I love (Shh.. Don't tell MAC), I have my concealer from Clinique, and I already own this 188 brush.

Though, if you were just starting out with MAC, then this would be an ideal collection for you.

Overall, I would rate this 3.5/5 stars. There is a nice selection, but I really don't want anything from this collection. It's all about personal preference. -MacFanGirl

Mac Vera Collection!

This new Mac collection was just recently released to the public!

This collection features mineral eyeshadows, plushglasses, pearl glide intense eyeliner, nail lacquers, and pearl matte face powder.

I'm personally am probably only going to check out the plushglasses. I particularly liked "Fashion Fanatic". I would just skip the nail laquers. They are basically a hit or miss. Sometimes they apply great, most of the time they don't. I also really like the mineral eyeshadows. They come in a nice variety of colors for spring. I only find mineral eyeshadows hard to work with, and I have enough eyeshadows as it is.

Overall I would rate this collection 4/5 for nice colors, and a decent variety. I wouldn't rate it a perfect 5/5 because I just felt the collection was really missing something to tie it all up in a nice red bow. -MacFanGirl
